Geocache Description:

Elton John has been going strong for nearly 50 years. Born Reginald Kenneth Dwight in 1947, he changed his name to Elton Hercules John and flew to stardom. He was somewhat flamboyant in his younger years, but he has settled down and was even knighted in 1998. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame in 1994. He co-wrote most of his songs with Bernie Taupin. He has had at least one Billboard top 40 song every year between 1970 and 1990. This series of caches highlights some of his hits.

Home Again

Released in June of 2013 it is the first single from the album The Diving Board.  It is a tribute to Liberace"When I met him, he always talked about how much he loved going home to his house," John said. "It's a feeling of being at peace and being yourself. Liberace left us 25 years ago – and what a difference those years have made to people like me, and people like me." (Rolling Stone)
