[ITA] Il 10 gennaio 2004, su un promontorio 3 ore a sud di Sydney, in Australia, Geoaware e le sue due figlie posizionarono la prima EarthCache. EarthCache I - a simple geology tour of Wasp Head venne trovata per la prima volta due settimane dopo da Tankengine. Da quel giorno, 148 geocachers hanno trovato quella cache, ma oltre 16.000 EarthCaches sono state posizionate in tutto il mondo, e trovate da più di 3,5 milioni di cacciatori.
[ENG] On January10th, 2004 on a headland 3 hrs south of Sydney, Australia, the very first EarthCache was placed by Geoaware and his two daughters. EarthCache I - a simple geology tour of Wasp Head sat for two weeks before it was found by Tankengine. Since then, 148 geocachers found that cache, but about 16.000 other ECs have been placed around the world, and found over 3.5 million times.
