Konseisama (程洞のコンセイサマ) Traditional Cache

This cache is near the Hodohora Inari Shrine.
You should not use the sandals for about 200M climb the mountain path.
The Cache is a can of about 55mm diameter. Please bring a pen.

There is a "Konseisama" faith in Tono from the old days,
Object of worship has remained in some areas even now.
Konseisama in Hodohora is a god worshipped by many local people
 and is commonly known as the god responsible for Infertility, back pain relief, and a bountiful harvest.
It has the unique shape of a phallus because it represents the life force.
There is a custom tot back the object of worship of the shrine for praying
 and to be dedicated by doubling the object of worship when a child is born in this area.
The Konseisama festival is held on June 9.

キャッシュは程洞稲荷神社のそばにあります。
山道を200Mほど登るため，サンダル類は止めた方が良いでしょう。
キャッシュは直径約55mmの缶です。ペンをお持ちください。

遠野には昔から「コンセイサマ」信仰があり，
今でもいくつかの地域にご神体が残っています。
程洞のコンセイサマも，多くの地元の人々に信仰されてきたご神体で，
不妊や腰痛，豊作にご利益があるとして知られています。
ご神体は男性の象徴を模っていますが，これは生命力を表しています。
ここでは，祈願をするために祠に置いてあるご神体を持ち帰り，
無事子供に恵まれたらご神体を倍にして奉納するという習慣があります。
コンセイサマの祭は，毎年6月9日に開催されています。
