Hurricane Creek "M Bend" Park is one of Tuscaloosa County's newest Parks and Recreation sites, opening in Summer 2013. The park currently consists of a pedestrian and biking trail along Hurricane Creek, a tributary of the Black Warrior River. There are plans to build additional picnicking, hiking and canoeing facilities in the future.
My wife, 6wiggies, drove by this area a few days ago and noted that there were no geocaches here yet, and that we had a prime opportunity to bring geocachers to this beautiful area to enjoy the park and get some smileys. This trailhead marks the start of our own little "power trail." Given that the trail will be walked and biked by many people in years to come, we have made an effort to hide stealthily.
