Geocache Description:

The cache name will make sense when you see the cache's home. Don't know how it got that way, but I thought it was kind of neat when I saw it. 

For those who don't know me, my caching name is cometrider. Before I fell in love with geocaching, I spent many a day on the back of a beautiful Paint horse I used to own named Comet. She and I and some friends and their horses spent a Saturday a few years ago riding along these park trails. It was a wonderful combination of my love for horses, friends, and the great outdoors. Although I no longer have Comet, I still have a passion for getting out in the woods, whether hunting, hiking, or caching. I hope you enjoy your visit to the park and this opportunity to experience the wonders of the great outdoors.
