A cache hidden during a camp to mark the tenth anniversary of 1st Austinmer Rover Crew.
Barcoo Swamp is just inside the boundary of Wollemi National Park. As such, it is a quiet bush camp with no facilities, and more importantly no dirt bikes that infest the nearby Newnes State Forest.
There are many fantastic canyons in the surrounding areas, and as such you will find canyoners camped here on the weekends during the warmer months.
The attached co-ordinates will take you to Barcoo Swamp Camping Area. The cache is hidden just outside of the Wollemi National Park Boundary. How you get to the cache is up to you. There are easy ways and harder ways. Once you get there, you are looking for an ammo can hidden under bark below a gum tree on the eastern side of the track.
