[eng] Nature school of Timosenkoski, a special school in the city of Oulu, no "own" pupils
[fin] Timosenkosken luontokoulu on Suomen pohjoisin luontokoulu. Hallinnollisesti se on Hönttämäen koulun sivutoimipiste, mutta käytännössä se on kaikkien Oulun seudun alakoulujen ja päiväkotien käytettävissä oleva luontoretkipäivien tukikohta. Ohjelmat vaihtelevat vuodenaikojen mukaan: syksyllä on metsä- ja suoretkiä, talvella lumitutkimuksia sekä sisätiloissa planetaario, keväällä puolestaan linturetkiä.
Annathan työrauhan oppilaille ja heidän opettajilleen, eli rauhoitetaan arkipäivät (ma – pe) klo 8 – 15 väliseltä ajalta etsintätoiminnalta. Muina aikoina huomioi kätkön läheisyydessä oleva vilkkaasti käytetty liikuntareitti – talvikaudella pääsetkin suksilla hoidettua latua pitkin varsin lähelle tätä kätkökohdetta.
Hyvä kätköilijä, palautathan kätköpurkin täsmälleen samaan paikkaan mistä sen löysitkin!
[eng] Nature school of Timosenkoski is the northernmost nature school of Finland. Administratively it is a branch of the school of Hönttämäki, but in practice it is used by all the elementary and nursery schools on the region of Oulu. Programs of these groups vary according to the season; at autumn, forest and swamp excursions take place, during the wintertime snow will be explored and a planetarium operates in the interior of this nature school, and in the spring time the bird excursions take place.
Please, do not search this cache Monday thru Friday at 8 am. – 15 pm, so the school activities won’t be disturbed. Also during the other times, please notice the actively used exercise route in the vicinity of this cache. During the skiing season, you may approach quite close to this cache site by skis.
Fellow geocacher, please return the container in to the exactly same location where you found it!
