Geocache Description:

This cache is placed where you need to make a decision, either to climb to the Fort for a magnificent view or walk towards Radical Bay for a swim. Of course you can do both.

The Fort is a former Australian Navy Battery built in 1942. The fortified concrete command post was also a observation post, a munitions bunker and two gun emplacements overlooking Cleveland Bay.

The remains are in good condition and are worth the walk/ climb to experience the wonder, and, whilst walking keep an eye out for a Koala or two.

Radical Bay, as the name suggests, affecting the fundamental nature of something, was once a fantastic resort catering to backpackers. It is still a great place for a swim. Radical is accessible by a short rough road, and you don't have to go all the way to swim.

The cache is a Sistema with a log book. Please BYOP.

Many thanks go to the ^dventurer's for wholehearted help in hiding this cache.
