BUK - nadgraniczna wieś położona w woj. zachodniopomorskim, w powiecie polickim, w gminie Dobra.
Najstarsza wzmianka z 1284 roku podaje, że przy kościele we wsi Buk mieściło się probostwo, a później siedziba pastora co świadczy o służebności kościelnej tej rolniczej osady. W środku wsi zachował się XIII-wieczny kościół pw. św. Antoniego z Padwy z XVI-wieczną wieżą zbudowany z ciosów granitowych, przebudowywany w XVI i XIX wieku. W trakcie II wojny światowej wieś nie ucierpiała, została zajęta 27 kwietnia 1945r. przez wojska radzieckie. Wieś przeszła pod administrację polską 4 października 1945 r. Po 1945r. istniała tu Rolnicza Spółdzielnia Produkcyjna a następnie do roku 1992 gospodarstwo rolne należące do Przedsiębiorstwa Rolno-Przemysłowego w Szczecinie. ENGLISH VERSION BUK - a village closes to the German border, located in the Westpomeranian province, in Police county, Dobra municipality. The oldest mention from 1284 says that near the church in Buk village a rectory, and later the pastor's seat was located. This proves that this agrarian settlement was used for ecclesial service as well. In the middle of the village you can see the 13th-century church of Saint Anthony of Padua with the 16th-century tower, built from granite joints, rebuilt in the 16th and 19th centuries. During the Second World War the village wasn't damaged, on the 27.th April 1945 the Soviet Army gained control over it. The village went under Polish administration on 4th October 1945. After 1945 the Agricultural Production Cooperative existed here and next, until 1992 there was a farm here, belonging to Agro-Industrial Factory of Szczecin. translation by seaneczka
