Geocache Description:

There may be no other way to kick off the
Third Annual Geo X-treme Race,

than a
Geo X-treme Meet & Greet.

So we decided that a couple of X-tremest like us should host this event so we can finally meet all our new caching friends, from the X-treme Go Getters to the X-tremely Laid back cachers.

We will get together at a local eatery for some water critters & cow parts, on Friday, January 24th at 6:30pm. There will be all kinds of edible goodies to choose from, BUT don’t feel obligated to have dinner if you choose not to. But, PLEASE, come out and ENJOY the fabulous company of the other cachers.

We can talk about past races & the challenges we had to endure; the past winners can invoke their bragging rights, and we all can even plan our strategies for the upcoming race on Saturday, January 25th.

We look forward to seeing you all there.

We want to thank everyone in playing along with the log sheets. We hope you all had as much fun doing them as we did writing them & READING them.

The results are as follows:

MUDD HOLE GANG – 16 (They just need to be converted to the Jekyll & Hyde mentality!)
SPUNKY MAMA – 20 (You were distracted by the youngster & couldn’t concentrate, right!)
CACHE 4 DONNA – 22 (I feel sorry for the poor cheetah with only two legs.)
SON OF SPUNKY – 24 (The apple doesn’t fall far, but at least you’re not as bruised as her EGO!)
FUN FINDER ONE – 24 (A little harder without the whole CEO group, HUH!)
ME MOM LS – 26 (It’s a good thing you make great events, because, well…..)
BEER FROG 8 – 28 (Children say the darndest things, & so do cachers.)
C_DUB – 28 (Scratching through bad answers doesn’t make them right.)
J J DUCKY – 28 (I guess some people can’t sign their geo-name on the TOP line.)
HORSE SHOE CHAMP – 28 (The new smart phone isn’t that smart.)
BONE HEADS 3 – 30 (I guess the name says it all.)
LOST MOM – 32 (ROT 13 puzzles may not be your FORTE.)
BONE HEADS 3 – 32 (WHAT, One bad sheet deserves another?!)
BONE HEADS 3 – 36 (I guess they thought 3rd time was a charm, GUESS NOT!)
LEAH – 42 (What an unusual geo-caching name.)
GREAT SCOTT! – 60 (If you could only go back in time, maybe it would be easier.)
GATOR MAN 83 – 64 (Sometimes you can do well by doing NOTHING at all.)
GEOTURTLE LOVER – 64 (I think they cheated by copying each other’s paper.)
MR HYDE – 80 (Not quite sure how this one got here?)

NOW, for the answers that was needed;

#1 said “Read instructions completely, and then follow directions accordingly,” Which means, read ALL instructions before writing anything. In which you would have deciphered #19 & #22 which would have told you NOT to do the instructions that were multiples of 3 (so all that work on the back was for nothing) or multiples 5 (that forced you to write – X I AM WRONG).
#2 is 1 each, or 2 TUTUS total.
#4 is 14, 10 animal legs plus the 4 legs, or sections, of a relay race.
#7 is 11 letters in T H E A L P H A B E T .
#8 is 22 underlined words, PLUS what words you wrote on the answer lines.
#11 is YES, 1 mark & 2 marks to form, 4 or IV.
#13 is 13, everyone loves an extra doughnut.
#14 is backwards or drow siht, (now don’t be thinking bad words!)
#16 is 2nd St. because sometimes 1st St. is called main St.
#17 is anyway YOU spell Pennsylvania, (so the only wrong answer is NO answer.)
#23 is RIGHT, if you signed your GEO-CACHING NAME, on the TOP LINE, with your WRONG hand.

All the other #’s were correct if they were blank.
