FA Andrews Reserve is located in the westernmost tip of the Yarra Bend Park. Located 4 km northeast of Melbourne's CBD, it is the largest area of natural bushland left in inner Melbourne.
Near the cache is a pleasant reserve, a good playground for the geokids - perhaps they can come and help find the cache once they tire of the high wooden fort style playground? It is also the junction of several bike paths, plus a very high bridge connecting Abbotsford with Kew, which offers scenic Yarra views.
The cache itself is a small container, with room for a few SMALL swaps / trackables
April 2017 UPDATE: I have FINALLY got around to replacing this cache and have moved location slightly, as the old one is no longer suitable (coordinates have been updated) - this might increase the terrain rating ever so slightly
August 2019 UPDATE: The cache went missing again with eh recent heavy rains, so the replacement has been relocated again.
