Geocache Description:


Well! My 30th (physical) cache. Glad I found a cool spot for it. Found this walk on a walk with my junior Pathfinder (like Scouts) group who we took down here for their first installment of their hiking honour. Unlike most of my other caches, I’m going to try and avoid a lengthy description full of useless information, so here goes: Trail head is obviously, well, the trail head, however this is the beginging of a short bumpy track, which I would say isn’t quite 2wd territory, but an SUV can get in here in the dry. The other alternative is to walk from the Pine Forrest camping area, following the red signs. The walk can also be done as a complete loop. This leads you to the top of the falls. Now this is where the 4 terrain comes in. Once looking down the drop of the falls, backtrack slightly and walk around on the right hand side of the creek, (the south side) until the cliff turns into a steep slope. This will lead you to the bottom of the falls where there is a large pool and a cave to the right when facing up the falls. photo DSCN9990_zps8fd96b29.jpg You can cross to the cave on the right without getting your feet wet however Seaeagles1997 decided to take a shower in one of the warmest falls I have been in for a while! Great for a summer time dip. As the gps is rather inaccurate down here I have added VARIOUS PHOTOS to help you find the 200ml Sistema which awaits your attendance.
