Geocache Description:

My late grandfather was from Shotts and buried at Kirk o'Shotts. My own father died in Perth, Australia. I love this area - makes me feel good looking at the same things that they did.

My grandfather 'Big Boab' rented space from the government owned coal mines and had his own team working away. Boab would sometimes drive up Benhar way with my late Grandma Jean and then go for a walk. Boab was a big broad shouldered man. One day down in the mines a few of his workers disagreed with Boab's decision and they threw a railway sleeper (we don't have them now - but it's a very heavy piece of wood) at him and he caught it.

Cache is hidden at the back of the base of an obvious prominent tree. Please cover well as has been vandalised.

DANGER WARNING !

Haggis Hunter spotted some disused barbed wire rolls hidden in the undergrowth.

Congratulations to Clachanman for being FTF !
