Geocache Description:

We realised this side of town was a little bare when it came to caches so decided to try and rectify it with this one.

Situated close to Market Drayton swimming pool and at the town skate park, be sure to bring your trunks or your board! It may not be possible if there are skateboarders around but luckily (or sadly) these days they don't seem to be around too often. This one is to commemorate many happy carnival days that Dad spent here in his youth watching the bands when the whole picnic area was turned in to a mini music festival. With the advent of the Rock n Bowl event and the move of the carnival to the Grove School field those festival days came to an end. Hopefully with Rock n Bowl growing it'll be possible for the next generation to relive those days in all their glory. This is a magnetic micro so make sure you're equipped with a pen and is really close to the car park so a quick cache and dash is possible. We hope this doesn't get muggled, we chose the actual hiding place just so that we could get a song lyric in to the hint. With an opportunity like that how could we not give it a try?
