Geocache Description:


The new Seventh Ave Bridge was opened earlier this year, replacing the iconic 100 year old wooden (later concrete and steel) structure which has served many generations of locals crossing the Midland-Perth railway line. As we know, the original bridge had a legendary 'bump' almost midway across, which allowed a vehicle travelling at greater-than-recommended speed to become airborne. Sadly the bridge was deemed structurally unsafe (who'd have thought?) and was demolished in 2014.
