Here's the idea: we'll have a get together at our house (the coordinates are by our driveway). It's 2432 Hanwell Road for those who want a street addess. Let's say 7:02 pm. We should be all done by 8:57. All you have to bring is yourself, but where's the fun in that?
The main event is a yankee swap. For those who haven't done one before, don't worry - we'll explain at the event. If you want to participate, you'll need to bring a gift. Of course, it has to be wrapped! You'll leave with a gift too - just not your own.
Here's the catch - no buying anything for this gift. You can regift something, wrap something (that is still is new condition!) and use that, but NO BUYING ANYTHING. That includes wrapping paper! Reuse some from Christmas if you must, but don't buy anything.
If you want to bring something to drink or eat, feel free. We'll have some finger foods, but definitely BYOB. It is a kid friendly event though, so please keep that in mind.
As a side note, we also have two dogs. They will be nearly one year old at that time. They are not large dogs (both under 50 pounds).
