Geocache Description:

This microcache is not at the posted coordinates. You will need to answer the questions to find the actual coordinates. Good luck and byop!

Welcome to Sleepy Hollow! This little neighborhood sheds light in the darkness during the Christmas season. Find a parking place and enjoy a walk or bike ride through the neighborhood. It will probably take a half hour to one hour, depending on your speed, but be prepared for some hills. Keep your eye on the lights, particularly the stone street lights, to light your way. Beware that there is an extremely high muggle factor during the holidays so be as stealthy as you can. If you wish to avoid the congestion, daylight hours are more peaceful. Enjoy!

The posted coordinates are your starting point.

1. Make a note of the street light (4416193E) and head westward down the hill.

2.  This numberless one is at the corner of what two girls’ names? Just checking. Keep walking down the hill.

3.  This street light also has no number! Look left down the alley.

A.) How many playing fields do you see? Or, if you cannot see, solve this problem: add the digits of the address closest to this light and divide by 5.

4.  2243767E – What is the address across the street?

5.  Look for 1944576E but be careful at this intersection. Walk NNW along the street.

6.  1944577E – this neighborhood is known for beautiful Chinese Elm trees.

B.) How many are on this corner property?

Follow the street with the familiar candy name.

7.  811720E – look ahead to the nearest mailbox.

C.) How many letters are in the name of the color of the mailbox?

8.  4416169E –

D.) Find the number of water meter hole covers close by.

9. 1944562E –

E.) Are you at the corner? Turn right (south) onto the street with the name of a Beatle's wife. How many letters are in the name of the street?

10. 1944561E - Take a left at the street of Christmas songs.

F.) How many sewer covers do you find on this street?

11. 1357744E – Keep walking, keep counting.

12. 1486792E – Isn’t this an odd little street? Take a left as you come out of this street.

13. 811715E –

G.) Look across the street for the address.

14. 194900E –

H.)  Count the number of windows in the garage door on the house to your left.

15.  811713E – The nearby house has an address plaque with an initial.

I.) What number of the alphabet is that letter?

16.  2244511E – Are you at a street corner? Good! Do you see the sign pointing you to a nearby sporting facility?

J.) How many “u’s” do you see on the sign?

K.) In what year did John Swigart, contractor, leave an impression? Walk up the hill. Phew!

17.  811710E – Are you breathing hard yet? Take a moment to gather your information to find the final location.

L.) Divide C by E and add the quotient to the last two digits of K.

M.) The last digit of G

                N.) H

The final coordinates are N 33 L.MBJ and W 118 DA.NF.
