Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. You will have to solve the puzzle to obtain them.

It was 3PM in Rochester NY on a Friday in early June, but too late to hit the golf course. Joe found he could not get in a round recently. His job as a naval investigator always seemed to cause havoc to his weekends when others were available. He loved golf and turned on the TV and had a late dinner at 19:22 watching some precorded rounds. He continued watching until 8 after midnight and turned in. He had a feeling, with his luck, tomorrow would be busy.

Joe woke up early and got a call just as the church next door was striking 6 bells. It was his good friend Fred who was stationed at Gander Airforce base. " Hi Joe I can only talk for a little bit I have a meeting I have to start heading off to at 8:23. I hear things are going to get busy there. Just a heads up."

Joe said "Thanks for the heads up but I have not heard anything. I was just going to call Ron for some golf."

"Good luck with that, gotta run" replied Fred.

At 0800 Joe got the call he was dreading. "Get to the cruiser, we need you to investigate a capsized naval boat on Lake Ontario." So much for calling his friend for a relaxing golf game.

It was 7 bells in the forenoon watch by the time they arrived at the site. It was a typical pilot error and really did not need his expertise, but it still meant that they had to be thorough which ate up the day. It was about 7 til 8 when they finally got back to the dock.

He decided to head home and did not get there until about 38 minutes after 9. He again watched his games until 23:30. He finally decided to turn in a quarter after midnight.

He was deep in sleep when he was woken by the annoying ring from his phone at 3:07. His boss?! What was he doing calling? He was traveling in London, England!

"Joe, glad I finally caught you. I got a call at 6am that nobody could reach you. I tried also, but nobody answered. Remember in this job it is communication, communication, communication! Where were you? "

Exhausted thought Joe but instead said "I am here now what do you need?"

"I need you on the cruiser, a serious crime may have been committed".

Joe was up and out the door in record time. It was only one bell in the morning watch when he had arrived. By 06:22, they were well out on the lake, headed to another naval vessel. A half an hour later they were standing on board the ship.

It was an onboard murder. This ate up the day what with interviews and data collection. It was four bells in the first dogwatch when Joe could finally leave. He took with him an interesting photo of an object at the crime scene to look over more.

At 18:15 the boat left for shore. So much for giving Ron a call to play golf. Well back to the usual, Joe thought and turned on the TV. At a half past midnight He turned in. So much for a lovely weekend.
