GREEN STICKER!!! We all cry together...
This cache has been placed near a "green sticker" post and the idea is to introduce you all to our fun traveling game.
The game is quite simple. The first person in the car to see one calls out "Green Sticker" and they get a point.
If Green sticker is called and there isnt one there they loose a point.
There can be variations in the rules. Every few k's there is a larger signpost type version of the same thing, you will notice them. We play that these are worth 1 point and the thin posts are worth 2.
Iam not sure what the significance of these posts are but they have been keeping us occupied on road trips since my childhood. I can tell you that they seem to be only in the wider Waikato district, and they seem to be placed about a k apart. They also seem to be only on the state highways. Sometime in the past 5-10 years they changed the stripe colour from green to black but that doesnt need to change our game!
Because this is on a very busy road and there is a house nearby I will let you in on a little secret.
Cache is a cammoed 750ml screwtop container. It has been placed at the base of a tree.
