The Waldron Ranch, initially formed in 1883, includes 12,357 hectares of native grasslands straddling a 30 km stretch aong the historic Cowboy Trail. Along the eastern slopes of the Rockies, between the Whaleback and the scenic Porcupine Hills, lies some of the most ecologically significant land in Alberta. It’s not only rangeland for up to 11,000 cattle, but it’s also important habitat for wildlife such as grizzly bears, elk, moose and cougars.
Congrats to peaceguy for the FTF.
