Mt. Shosha (Trailhead of Katanadezaka)
Although the altitude at the top of Mt. Shosha is only 371m, many people visit here throughout the year because there is a famous temple Engyoji. There are 6 trails to the temple from the mountain foot. In addition, an aerial cableway (ropeway in Japanese) has been operated in the daytime.
There is a Katanade shrine near the trailhead of Katanade zaka. The Katanadezaka trail is located along a clear stream. This is a part of the Kinki Nature Trail. This cache is placed beside the trail. The accuracy of my GPSr was 10 m when I took the coordinates.

書写山 (刀出坂参道口)
書写山は標高371mの山ですが、山上には圓教寺があり、四季を通して訪れる人が多い山です。山上へは六つの参拝道があります。さらにロープウェイもあるので、誰もが気軽に参拝できます。
刀出坂参道口には刀出神社（古墳）があり、その少し先に登山者向けの駐車スペースがあります。刀出坂参道は近畿自然歩道の一部で、沢沿いの整備された登山道です。登りきると奥の院にでます。 このキャッシュは参道のそばにあります。座標取得時のGPSrの精度は10mでした。
