Angel Road

Here is a road approximately 500m called the Angel Road. According to a legend, the road appeared because a girl prayed to meet her lover who stayed the 4th island. This is one of the Lover's Sanctuary.

When I came here first, the road was closed because the angel was sleeping. I went to Kankakei to enjoy hiking. After that, I came here again. Many visitors of tourists poured out of the busses. I arrived at an island through the Angel Road among many visitors. There were many shells and a heart-shaped votive tablets. I watched the off-limits signboard to this island. However, there was a way to detour around in the west. I moved forward. The next island was not so bigger than the previous one, and there were few votive tablets of the shell. There was not an off-limits signboard. Fortunately, there was no visitors around this island. I tried to climb this and did it with slight difficulty. Trees grew thick on the island top. Because trash was scattered, I collected some of them. I placed a geocache labeled "GEOCACHING". I felt some fear when I came back from the island top to the Angel Road. The next island is the biggest island among four and is the private area. I gave up going to the next and returned to the Engagement Hill.

エンジェルロード

小豆島の前島から大余島までの約500mほどの道はエンジェルロードと呼ばれています。一番奥の大余島に身を隠した恋人に会いたいと貝殻を十字に並べて願ったところ道が開けたという伝説があります。今では、その道の真ん中で手をつないだカップルは結ばれるといった話もあります。道が開けるのは天使が微笑むときだけです。

最初に来たときは天使は眠っていたようでしたので寒霞渓に観光に行きました。しばらくしてから戻ってきてみると、観光バスが乗りつけ大勢の観光客が訪れていました。エンジェルロードを通って島に着くと、そこにはたくさんの貝殻やハート型の絵馬がかけてありました。そして、この島は立入禁止で事故を起こしても責任はとりませんという看板がたっていました。ただ、その島は西側に道があり、迂回して通ることができました。その次の島はさきほどの島に比べるとそれほど大きくはなく、貝殻の絵馬もあまりありませんでした。訪れる人が少ないのでしょうか。立入禁止の看板も立っていませんでした。たまたまなのか周りに観光客もいなかったので、登ってみることにしました。ボロボロと崩れる不安定なホールドでしたがなんとか島の上に行きました。島の上は木々が茂っていて多少ゴミも散らかっていたのでポケットに入る分だけ少し回収し、持ってきた"GEOCACHING"と書かれたコンテナを設置してきました。その後、登ったところから下りましたが、少しヒヤヒヤしました。次の島は大余島ですが、私有地で立入禁止らしいのでそちらには行かず、戻りました。
