Most of my caches are in wild places but I also have a love of history and if put in the right place I really enjoy street art. The underside of bridges over railways or canals where you have to hike in are good places. I hate graffiti in wild places like the Niagara Gorge so in places like this it doesn't bother me at all. So this cache sees my M.O. move from the forest and enter the urban jungle.
Welcome to Thoth. Once you have found the first container "a small magnetic key holder" you can enter the pyramid through the hexagon in the small opening just under the bridge. You will then maneuver 3 ancient chambers in the pitch black each with its own dangers. Overhead beams, desperate pee-ons, the dead of others who have tried and failed before you and the most amazing display of hieroglyphics west of Egypt. This is a better winter cache then a summer cache as we saw some evidence of summer residents here but no needles, feces or other unpleasant things you might expect.
After you exit you will have to wait for your GPS to settle before zeroing in on the final stage which closer resembles my main M.O. If you have found my caches in Fort Erie then you'll recognize my camo. PLEASE if you find this regular size container be sure is closes tightly and the camo completely covers any exposed container thank you. Oh and feel free to upload pictures of any art updates :)
