West Stanley railway station
There was a station approximately 100 metres to the west of this cache. It was originally named Shield Row when it first opened in 1894 but was renamed to West Stanley in 1934. The station, itself closed in 1955 but the line was still used until the early 1980's.
The cache is a bison, which is right next to the C2C cycleway. Stealth is required as you will be visible along the old railway line. Please tuck it behind so it is not in plain sight.
Access can be had from Orchard Grove where there is a pedestrian underpass beneath the C2C or from next to Station Villas.
