Join Washington area geocachers each month at ~7:00pm. We'll talk about Geocaching, upcoming hikes and outings, trade bugs & coins and share stories from the field. Continuing with the tradition of 2013 we are rotating hosts each month to give others the opportunity to host an event at the location of their choosing. This results in a good variety of locales and eateries throughout the county.
We plan to continue to meet monthly in the Rockville/Bethesda/Silver Spring area. If you can't find next month's event, check the previous event and we'll try to post a note with a link to the next month. In the event the first Wednesday falls near a major holiday when people tend to be out of town, we may move the event to the 2nd week (like January 2014).
All are welcome to this family friendly event. It doesn't matter if you have found 50, 1000 or even 0 geocaches, we typically have attendees of all experience levels. We love to see people who are new to geocaching and looking to further explore their new-found hobby. We also enjoy meeting out-of-town geocachers who happen to be in the area, don't feel like this is locals only. If you're in town visiting family or on business, please join us!
Our first Wednesday gathering of 2014 will be held on January 8th at Vapiano Bethesda, 4900 Hampden Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814. P 301-215-7013. The Bethesda Metro station is about 3 blocks away. There are also several parking garages nearby.
Event time is 7pm until ???. We'll typically try to arrive early and push together a few tables to accommodate everyone.
