Geocache Description:

Part of Wilyams Travel Series #9

magnetic cache

River front park with a great, sealed boat ramp. The park has children’s playgrounds, toilets, BBQs, picnic tables, garbage bins and lots of room for stretching the legs on the well-cared for grassed areas. Camping is not permitted :-(

Water skiing is allowed on the river and there are numerous good fishing spots, and this area is where I caught my first Cod on a boiled egg at the age of 5yrs. The town is famous for its sport stars such as Glenn McGarth there is a statue of him in town, Melinda Gainsford-Taylor, David Gillespie and lots more.

CONGRATULATIONS FTF *** THE GREEN GECKOS ****
