Geocache Description:

Part 3 of 3 of a small series in Queen's Park.

Queen's Park in Moonee Ponds is a mix of exotic and native plants and trees around a natural small lake. The lake was used as a watering point by people for millenia, including Burke and Wills as they headed out of Melbourne. There are two playgrounds, one near the cache. There's also a swimming pool very close at hand.

To get here, take the 59 tram from the city and hop off at the Queen's Park stop, just after Moonee Ponds Junction. The Craigieburn train will also take you to Moonee Ponds, though it's a short walk across the shopping district to the park. For cars, there may be parking on the street or in parking lots along Mount Alexander Rd. There is a cafe in the park, if you're feeling peckish.

The cache is in a micro to nano sized container that is well camoflaged but in view of the road and the tram stop. Please BYO writing utensil. There is no room for swaps. You might want to bring tweezers or some other log-extracting tool, as the current container is kind of fiddly. Stealth is a must.
