I am listing 3 ways to solve
This cache is at the point of intersection of Waypoints A, B, C, and D.
Waypoint A - N 46 29.966, W 080 53.721
Waypoint B - N 46 29.126, W 080 54.638
Waypoint C - N 46 29.474, W 080 53.275
Waypoint D - N 46 29.672, W 080 54.899
(I have listed the 4 waypoints in order for this route. For other caches, the coords may not be listed in entering order, so you may have to list them in a different order to find a point of intersection)
A - To find the point of intersection on an Oregon :
Load and save the 4 waypoints into your gps naming them A, B, C, and D for this cache.
Go to Route Planner
Go to Create Route
Go to Select first point and select waypoints
In Waypoints select first waypoint select (A) select (USE)
select next point, Waypoint, select waypoint (B) select (USE)
select next point, Waypoint, select waypoint (C) select (USE)
select next point, Waypoint, select waypoint (D) select (USE)
after the 4 waypoints have been saved into the route, press the back arrow, you will now see the name of the route.
Enter the route and go to view map, press the “+” to enlarge the map several times, all the while keeping the point on intersection in view.
The larger that you make the map, the more accurate the coordinates will be.
Touch the map so the marker pin appears, touch the point of intersection on the route so that the pin is in the center of the intersecting route lines. The coordinates will be in the top frame.
B – Use an app on a smart phone and follow the instructions for the app
C – Use a map such as google maps and plot the 4 waypoints to narrow down the search area
I have placed this magnetic nano container in an area where there are several items that it can be attached to, so accurate coordinates are needed to avoid a long search. The geocheck will accept up to 3 m accuracy
Happy Caching
Congrats ChooChoo and Rose girl (and all) for using that feature, it is nice to use the features we have paid for! lol
