Geocache Description:

This is one of 9 caches to coincide with the Cache and Cake event in Thurso on 28th December, so please hang on and look for on that day or after! Thanks

One of 8 caches in the Parish of Olrig in Northern Scotland, based around the village of Castletown.

This cache is in an area the children called 'the top top woods', as opposed to 'the woods' and 'the top woods' when they told us where they were going to play. Access to the 'top top woods' was for teenagers only from our family!

You can see the mill dam and lade stonework here, although a lot has now tumbled down, but the bridge itself is interesting as it is a 3-arch bridge - but not in a way you might expect! It is now overgrown and disused, with a beautiful Horse Chestnut tree at one side.
