Geocache Description:

You are seeking a small peanut butter jar (just for you lg&w) that is hidden at the back of a public rest area. The terrain should not be as tough as indicated (wink, wink, local caching pair), but can be a little slippery when wet. Bushwhacking is NOT required. Rest areas usually have snooping workers. I recommend parking at the east end of the lot, slipping down the hill, and following the fence line to the back of the rest area.

This is the third tribute cache placed for my geo-buddy (illinitrekker) this year. Somebody is taking his hobby way too seriously! It has been a year of significant accomplishments for him though, including best (130 finds with Heavy Metal) and second-best (129 with wolrab) caching days, best caching month (600 finds in April), and best year (more than 2500 finds when this cache was placed). In addition, his consecutive days streak is still going (currently 556 days). It appears he will actually achieve his goal of making it through an entire calendar year with a find on every day.

Because we were worried he might reach the next big milestone while we are traveling for the Christmas holiday, my buddy accompanied me for the placement and signed the log. He does not claim first to find rights -- nor the gift card to his favorite drink stop -- these go to the first cacher to sign the log after the listing is published.
