The cache is located close to a sealed rest stop on the Bruce Highway between Maryborough and Childers. There is ample parking with some shade trees and there is one shelter shed.
The area had a cache close by until the cache owner left the area. I stop here to stretch the legs on my frequent trips to and from from the Sunshine Coast and Bundaberg. Please be discrete in your search as the area does become popular at times and it is sometimes used as an overnight stop by grey nomads and truckies. The cache is a camo-ed ammo can containing a logbook and pen and plenty of room for travellers.
