A simple traditional cache placed along a disused stretch of road that used to be part of the main highway.
Ever since cache GC1VBZ7 was placed a few years ago I have wanted to explore this road some more. Today I took a shortish walk along the road and placed a few caches along the way. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area and it seemed like the sealed road was an almost post-apocalyptic reminder of all the traffic and people that used to pass along here in the past. The road is an easy walk and can also be biked easily.
A nice walk for kids too. However, keep an eye on younger cachers as there are some steep drop offs near the road and it also crosses a few streams (bridged).
This cache is placed in next to another road bridge. It is a 400ml sistema container with log, pencil, eraser, sharpener and room for small swaps.
