Welcome to our very own cache! You will need to park at the end of Eyre Road and take a little stroll down Kyeema track. When you look up you'll see the Channel 10 TV towers! If you are viewing the Dandenong Ranges from the city, this is the largest tower on the right side. If you wander a little further down Kyeema track you'll also see the most amazing view of Melbourne, so it is worth the wander. Plus there are a few bonus caches others have hidden along Kyeema track, so it makes for a fantastic walk.
Please note that whilst there is a Private sign, this is simply to keep away the muggle tourists. And we would appreciate if you could come in discreetly so not to alert any muggles. We do have a small dog but his bark is louder than he is. His name is Baxter and he's extremely friendly. If you should encounter him please be aware he likes to lick.
We also have chooks and cats on our property who have known to wander where you will find the cache.
Please keep along the fence-line, and make sure you look directly up to see just how magnificent our TV towers are! Enjoy :-)
The container you will be seeking is medium size and within easy reach and within view. However as it is off the usual muggle path, it should remain safe and we'll be checking it very regularly, as I have two very eager mini-geo-cachers!
Kyeema track has an interesting history, If you walk another 500m or so past Bourkes lookout, you can read all about Kyeema - which was a small plane that crashed at the site in 1938.
