Il 29 maggio 1985, poco prima dell'inizio della partita Juventus-Liverpool, finale di Coppa dei Campioni allo stadio Heysel di Bruxelles, avvenne una tragedia in cui morirono 39 persone, di cui 32 italiane e una di queste, Claudio Zavaroni, era cittadino di di Reggio Emilia. Un memoriale ne tiene in vita il ricordo.

On May 29th 1985, before the kick-off of the match Juventus vs. Liverpool, European Cup final at Heysel Stadium in Brussels, it took a tragedy where 39 people died, including 32 Italian and among them Claudio Zavaroni, he was a citizen of Reggio Emilia. A memorial keeps alive the memory of this tragedy.
