Guana Cay Bobber Tree
Visitors to and residents of Guana Cay that drive between Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean CLub and the Settlement know the Bobber Tree very well...it is kind of hard to miss!
Over the years, this large gumbo-limbo tree (yes...that really is the name of this type of tree) has been adorned with various fishing bobbers and mementos that range from round floats to mermaids. Most of the ornaments have names and dates written on them for posterity. This geocache is a geocoin and travel bug "hotel", so please bring your coins and bugs from all over the world to have a brief "stay" here in the Abacos islands.
Make sure that you park your golf cart out of the way, as the road is very narrow at this location.
Don't forget to watch the amazing sunsets from the Conch Shack at Baker's Bay or have some beverages at Grabber's and Nipper's while on the cay!
