A cache revival challenge for the KZN province.
THIS CACHE IS AT THE PUBLISHED COORDINATES
Another Challenge cache for the KZN. This challenge can only be completed using caches located within KZN.
In order to log this cache as found you need to complete the revival challenge. What this entails is you need to have found a cache that has been unfound for 365 days, ie 1 year. Please note FTF's do not count the cache needs to have been found already. If you do not meet the requirements your log will be deleted.
For example if a cache was found on 12/12/2011 and then you find it on 13/1/2013 you qualify for this challenge. Please include which cache you are using for this challenge in your log as well as the dates. All previous finds count.
At the GZ you will be provided wit a stunning view of Giba which just 4 months ago had one cache in and is now full. The view is somewhat ruined by the N3 highway running over Giba. The cache is about 2/3 meters away from the edge of a cliff face, please ensure any children stay away from the edge. NO HEROICS ARE NEEDED TO RETRIEVE THE CACHE.
Close to the GZ you will see the Shongweni fire tower which is still in use. If the tower is manned the watchman will often come out to say hi.
Most vehicles should be able to make it to the top of the hill where there is plenty parking. Just be aware of your vehicles ground clearance.
Don't forget to include the cache/find you are using for the challenge.
