Geocache Description:

Welcome to one of the many caches throughout this small little town named Bovina, which is full of history. While traveling through, enjoy the scenery and please take photos. Like any other place, please be respectful to environment and all other surroundings. Some caches may seem to be in the middle of nowhere, but that is the point: to get fellow geocachers out to the country. Please be sure to replace cache as you found it or hide it even better.  Enjoy.

This was the site of a Stone Church which was used from 1825-1865. Its land was used from 1820-1914. Please park on the opposite side of the road and walk across. As usual you are more than welcome to walk around and check out the area but be sure not to go beyond the boundaries.
