SWAG Tube #1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

mistertony: Time for this one to retire...the container held up for a few years but not as I had hoped. Seems at the end that it failed entirely...But almost 5 years is not too shabby.

Thanks to all who visited here!

Geocache Description:

You're looking for a container that the minions have dubbed the "SWAG Tube". It had replaced our "SWAG bag" (which was a simple plastic zipper bag that we carried in our geocaching pack) until a larger one was deemed necessary.

We have heard a few different references to "SWAG" including (but not limited to):

- A 2002 solo album by former Guns N' Roses guitarist

- Sourceware Archive Group

- A Scientific Wild A** Guess or "Guesstimate"

- Stuff We All Get

Of course, when geocaching we usually think of this last one. However, this particular hide may cover the last two.

The SWAG Tube is a small container that can hold some small items including SWAG or maybe even some smaller trackables. It was inexpensive, available in a few sizes, and off-the-shelf at a local hardware chain (where I sometimes "[preserve] [large] $$$"), so if this container type weathers well, I may try to use more like it for other "SWAG Tube" hides.

Also, while out placing this one, I had some terribly bouncy signals (moreso than usual) and had to make a SWAG on the final coordinates. The listed coordinates should get you close enough to the typical host. Feel free to double-check.

BTW, the minions have been known to challenge each other (and me) to try to say "SWAG tube" 5 times fast as a tongue-twister. Consider this gauntlet now thrown in your direction!

CONTAINER NOTE: The top of this container is the camo end. The camo'd top slides very snugly over the transparent tube so pry it off carefully (alternating side-to-side). Twisting is not necessary but may or may not help. Please replace the container into the host as it was found.

Congrats to Birdman270 on the FTF!
