Twelve Days of Christmas...10th Day Traditional Cache

Check your knowledge of the lyrics of this popular English Christmas carol in order to know what you are looking for. The 12 days in the famous song are the 12 days starting on Christmas Day, or in some traditions, the day after Christmas to the day before Epiphany. Twelfth Night is defined as “the evening of the 5th of January, preceding Twelfth Day, the eve of the Epiphany, formerly the last day of the Christmas festivities and observed as a time of merrymaking.” 

Since geocaching provides a great opportunity for merrymaking, this seemed like the perfect series to hide. Bring on the merrymaking - especially if all twelve caches in this series are successfully found! The joy can be found at any time of year, not just during the Twelve Days of Christmas. Just don’t try to find any of these from I-80 since they’re not accessible from there.

The Dark Lord does NOT leap. He also does not get along well with others, so he felt no need to share the spotlight on this day. For goodness sake, he’s wearing a Santa hat. Be glad for small miracles!

Double Hint…The Dark Lord likes to stay hidden from direct sunlight, so he’s cleverly camouflaged for the desert. Keep him covered and hidden. Also, once you find him, you may really need to use your head to find the location of the log. Need writing utensil.
