Snack Time #1: Chocolate & Hazelnut Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

wendell24: Archiving my very first cache feels very bittersweet, but I don't have a choice. This is the cache that made me a CO! I think I'll make it into a TB, so if you run into me sometime in the future, you'll still be able to log it. Thanks for stopping by and SL over the years! Happy hunting!

Geocache Description:

In the summer of 2001, I traveled to Germany for the first time and had my first taste of this stuff. It was the most delicious thing I'd ever tasted. At that time, I had not seen it in grocery stores in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area, but now you can buy it anywhere. I prefer the larger containers myself. And wouldn't you know, those containers make pretty good cache containers?

This should be an easy park and grab. The cache is located on private property (mine,) at the edge of my front yard. No need to approach the fence, especially if my two dogs are out; their barking will draw the attention of every muggle in hearing distance. Thankfully, they're getting old, so their sight and hearing aren't what they used to be. I ran the coordinates once using the c:geo app, which has been very accurate for me so far. It won't matter, though; GZ will be obvious when you consider the size of the container. That being said, please message me with any issues you notice. This street is a busy one in the neighborhood due to its location so close to the elementary school. Drop off and pick up times bring lots of muggles of all sizes. You'll also encounter lots of runners and dog walkers on pleasant evenings. Approach GZ with care! Contents include log (BYOP, ) my new Steve the Snowflake trackable, some small trade items and a FTF prize, which is taped to the lid. (The container is full!) I hope you enjoy my first cache! I'm already planning #2!
