[EN] Szveteney weg is a path that goes through the Sub Arini Park (Erlenpark) alongside Victorei Boulevard (formerly Schewisgasse). The gray marble monument is dedicated to General Anton Freiherr Szveteney of Nagy-Óhay (1831-1893), who was from 1888 the General Commander of Sibiu Garrison.

[RO] Szveteney weg este o alee care merge prin parcul Sub Arini (Erlenpark) paralel cu bulevardul Victoriei (fosta Schewisgasse). Conform Cronicii Oraşului Sibiu a lui Emil Sigerus, în 1891 a fost inaugurat drumul pentru călăreţi, amenajat de militari, de a lungul pârâului Seviş pâna la Stern (Stea). Mergând pe alee trecem printre o mare diversitate de arbori autohtoni si exotici până ajungem la obeliscul Szveteney. Acest monument din marmură gri este dedicat generalului Anton Freiherr Szveteney de Nagy-Óhay (1831-1893), cel care a fost din 1888 comandant al Corpului 12 armată (austro-ungară) şi comandant general al Garnizoanei Sibiu.
