C.B.H.U. - Cairns Bruce Highway Upgrade
Following almost two years of demolition, diversions, pile driving and construction, Stage One of the CBHU - from Sheehy Road to Ray Jones Drive is almost complete.
One of the key elements of this first stage, was the removal of the Forest Gardens Boulevard/Sheehy Road/Bruce Highway intersection, which has been replaced with an overpass. On the downside, for North bound drivers wishing to enter the Forest Gardens subdivision, you must now exit from the Bruce Highway at this Foster Road Exit, or face a rather lengthy drive to correct your lapse in judgement.
This Exit will take motorists to the Mount Sheridan Shopping Centre, the Forest Gardens Lawn Cemetery, the Cairns Crematorium or, more importantly, into the suburb of Mount Sheridan and the Forest Gardens subdivision.
The cache will be easily located, but care must be taken when accessing the cache hide. This is a 'log only' cache with no room for swaps.
