Welcome to A Zoologist's Nightmare, a collaboration between Gamer Son and Gamer Dad! As part of a scavenger hunt last December, Gamer Son invented a really good puzzle of a type I'd never seen, and I told him he should make a geocache puzzle using the same design. Days later, we hid the container together. He made the puzzle by the end of 2013 and vetted the puzzle for errors in January 2014. While he'd planned to make it his own write-up, too, geocaching is (horrors upon horrors!) NOT his top priority, so this week the mantle of cache write-up was passed on to me.

So, preeeesenting Gamer Son's puzzle creation, which I've titled "A Zoologist's Nightmare". It is definitely solvable...Gamer Mom and I had to solve a similar puzzle of his back in December...though he's made this one particularly tricky (worthy, IMO, of the Gamer moniker). I've felt my own ears burn many times over the years as geocachers muttered my name while trying to solve one of my puzzles...this time, Gamer Son's ears will be the ones catching fire!
