Bartholomew Diaz erected a cross at every location he landed when sailing around South Africa for the first time. This cross is South Africa's oldest monuent, built on March 12th, 1488. This is also the first stone cross ever built in South Africa.
A cache on one of the many beautiful rocky outcrops in this area. It's quite a long trek across the sand so plan and pack for full day on the beach (ie: food and lots of water!) There are also the most amazing swimming beaches so bring the family along.
