Geocache Description:

Race Course Lough (called Mill Lough by many) is a tranquil spot to the North East of the town centre.  Although the Lough has been recently restocked with fish, a recent survey (July 2013) failed to find a single one!

This cache takes you on a short walk along the lakeside, along flat and fully paved grounds and is ideal for prams and wheelchairs.  The last few feet are across grass.  The cache is a bottletop type with room only for a log and pencil.

From the path, you can see some key landmarks of the town, including Cole's Monument, Townhall and the Cathedral and Chapel spires, with the silhouette of Cuilcagh beyond.

The path ends where it meets the A32, but if you cross the road you can continue towards town along the "Great Northern Way" which is a quiet path along the route of the old railway line.
