Geocache Description:

I 1939 forlot "Nyken" brygga si i Gratangen med skipper Arnt Nilsen og mannskap på 17. Den 25. februar 1939 Blåste det opp til orkan på turen mot Newfoundland. Under en aksjon for å assistere en annen skute i følge fikk "Nyken" inn en brottsjø og sank med alle ombord.
