Please use a high clearance vehicle to get to the cache, and please do not attempt the cache at night.

The Protea

The genus Protea was named in 1735 by Carl Linnaeus after the Greek god Proteus, who could change his form at will, because proteas have such a wide variety of forms. Linnaeus's genus was formed by merging a number of genera previously published by Herman Boerhaave, although precisely which of Boerhaave's genera were included in Linnaeus's Protea varied with each of Linnaeus's publications.

The Dragon

Inanda Dam is an earth-fill type dam located on the Umgeni River, near Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was established in 1989 and its primary purpose is to serve for domestic and industrial use. An aerial view of the dam reveals the shape of a dragon. The dam is one of the hotspots for bass fishing in KZN. An Aerial view of the dam reaveals the shape of a dragon.
