~~This cache is placed on the Foothill Rails to Trails that goes from Puyallup to South Prairie. This used to be the line for Burlington Northern railroad and the Northern Pacific before that. Roughly where this cache is, it is called Crocker on the schedule. Crocker is listed on the schedule for this line to be 2.7 miles from Orting on the way to Palmer Junction. It was also listed on the schedule as the 3rd stop from Meeker on the schedule. There used to be a siding here so the trains could pass one another on their way to and from Palmer Junction. Not many passenger trains saw this beautiful area as it was mostly a freight train branch line. All the rails were removed by 1986 in this area.

No need to take more than a few steps off the trail to get the find!
