This cache was placed for no other reason than to celebrate the new year with the 1st new Salinas cache of 2014. It is recommended that you plan your visit for the daylight hours. The location overlooks a well-traveled migratory path for urban campers and is not well-lighted after evening hours.
Container is a camo-taped bison tube that blends well with the natural surroundings. The location lies directly in line between two prominent flag poles. Parking is available within inches of GZ.
