HAG X. This is one of 26 caches in the ABC D Zoo series. In our zoo, there is one animal for each letter of the alphabet, they are not in any order. We've named them after family and friends. Some of the creatures are odd. We had a difficult time finding an area big enough for 26 caches so there will be some backtracking. Because the trails are quite narrow, the hint will normally tell you which side of the trail the cache is on.
K - Kirk Koala is not your typical Koala who spends his time in trees. He's more of a cave dweller. Koalas are not bears. They are MARSUPIALS, which means that their young are born immature & they develop further in the safety of a pouch. It’s incorrect to call them ‘Koala bears' - their correct name is simply 'Koalas'. There were a lot of huge puddles on the trail when we placed the cache, so it may be easier to access this cache from the alternate parking location.
